  • Views on the new Panerai models?

What are your views on the new models Panerai just launched at SIHH?

Pictures are already out on the official website. Lots of new in-house movement watches using the 1950 case. There's a new Pam 28 PVD with sweeping hand as a special edition..

After the initial wow, I think of the lot I like best the new simple 3-day auto Pam 312 with inhouse movt..

One thing I'm glad is that the new 1950 watches don't have the domed glass.. which will make the current 233/270 still a bit special, and of course the 127/217...

Anyone can load the pics of the new watches?.. I dunno how leh..

i like the pam 305, the 47mm submersible in 1950 style casing. big, simple and nice.

dun really like the 44mm 1950 style casing, compared to the regular 44mm luminor casing. the 44mm 1950-style seems to "wear"/look smaller becos of the shape.

The Ezigano will be the hottest Pam this year with flippers going crazy over it.

The new inhouse this year seems to hint at the end of ETA based Pams. No remake of base at 47mm so that's a disappointment. The new Pam 28 is nice but the dial seems a little bland.

Looking at the new GMT models, w/o dome galss in a 1950, I'll go back to a 233.

The Ezi's really nice... check out the 'aged' markers ... see the caseback? But really, how to wear without looking like an idiot? I mean, if you are a 6 footer who looks like a viking it all comes together, otherwise... as I've witnessed for some locals wearing a DSSD...
The 233's in a class of its own...I think the new GMT models w/o dome glass are meant to satisfy pam fans who cannot get a 233 yet.

                            233 Vs 329

Yes, on the look out for 233, but seems like 329 looks equally attractive!

Wonder how much will the actual selling price for 329 once it is release to the market?
