I find that at such a price point, it's not difficult getting a PAM88 in the resale market in similar condition with box and accessories.

My 2 cents from a similar thread earlier on...

'...I'd recommend that you go for 44mm even if your wrist size is at 6 inch. Fit it with a thick leather strap and the lug overhang won't be obvious. Let's just say that for the case-size vs wrist size ratio, it'll look like you're wearing a 47mm on a 7 inch wrist... I've got a friend who's got a 5 inch wrist wearing a 44mm.... and that friend happens to be a lady.

40mm resale value generally takes a beating more than a 44mm...'

So bearing all conservative thoughts of how a 44mm would overshadow the wearer, pls try on a PAM88/89/237 no matter what...cos a Panerai is meant to be worn LARGE and IN YOUR FACE. Bring along someone who's familiar with Panerai with you when you go try it out.

    Just a teaser...

BNIB PAM287 at S$7400 sounds like a decent price. Whether it's a good buy or not depends on how much you like the watch really. But if you ask me, this is one watch I'd avoid, reason being that I've proved to be a Luminor guy, and Rads are out for me.

For that price... I'll go with a 210 (cheaper, not much damage on resale value), else... fork out more for the PAM232 or even the new fiddy-cased PAM312 (3 day inhouse automatic calibre... woohoo!).
