  • Panerai's Winding Mechanism Spoilt

    Hi all,

Recently, i woke up to wind my Panerai and to my horror, i heard a breaking sound and i knew the winding mechanism broke.

Anyone knows where and how much it cost to replace it?

    Thanks

            Heart breaking sound

If I hear such sound my heart will drop. I guess better not wind when mind not clear.

The unitas movement is not expensive. I wonder how much richemont will charge.

I will try to ask non official shops and compare price.

Well, it costs S$500 and they will usually throw in a free polish. After paying S$500, you can expect a 1 year extended warranty from them. How do I know? I broke 2 winding springs over the last 3 years... so I know %#&$*%(#.

is overwinding covered in the warranty?

i mean if you overwind and the main spring or soemthing break?

btw, is this a common issue with all manual winding watches?
I dont need another watch, I dont need another watch, I dont need another watch, I dont need another watch.........

if you over wind a manual wind watch, it is not covered under warranty.
