  • wat pam to get for a start?

was wondering wat pam to get for a start for my wife...
i got no idea coz all pams look the same to me.. n i tink she prefer the pam look..probably coz tats the 'in' thing now...
but i dun wanna spend a bomb on this and later regret...coz i personally got not much liking...so this basic cheapest model might wanna add some poison in me???..hehehhehehe

so any cheap and nice to recommend for a start? prefer 1st hand.. but can make do with 2nd hand...

i mean i prefer to be on the safer side than rolex...and look at the price of pams now.. but if really like oso bo pian..rite?

    btw..mm r out..hehhehe

suggest 104. standard entry level. wont lose much should u want to sell later. base on current market

I suggest get the cheapest Luminor that you can get. Most likely 000, 005, 112, and 111

Btw, it is never a logical thing to buy a pam. so just buy if you like it.
              I own a Rolex !

For ladies, the 40mm usual suspects wld be 48 or 49 but off cse the latter is more popular (white dial).... if ur more adventurous, then 241 (hobdial w PR) is a very nice pc to consider......

For Practicality (both to share) and Re-sale value, forget the 40mm.... Then its down to these few considerations: Luminor vs Rads, Painted (Pre G-series & Logo) vs Sandwich, self wind vs auto wind (w date), sweeping secs vs none, black dial vs white dial (113 and 114) vs Tobacco Dial (higher priced).

My rec by: Heart (Pam 49), Head (Pam 001/111).

my 2 cents....... anyway enjoy ur Pam hunting process.

                    Panerai

Most ladies will go for 40mm than 44mm.

                    40mm: 48 & 49

                    44mm: 000, 005, 210, 183, 111 & 112

All are entry level for Panerai

                      tough decisions ....

Historic : ZERO, 112, 111 (hand-wound with sexy see through case back - girls like it bare )

                      Contemporary : 104 (automatic)

IMHO, if this is your first PAM, go for a Luminor instead of a Radiomir.

And go for at least 44mm. I have come across many cases of colleagues or wivies of colleagues ditching their BABY PAMs.

Regardless of which PAM you choose, this is only the beginning ..... welcome to the world of straps..

                        210 and 183 are 45mm Radiomirs

I would choose PAM that both you and your wife could share. Personally I would avoid 40mm PAM. PAM has to be big
