this is not an automatic movement
its quartz movement powered by a rechargeable battery that is charged by the winding of the rotor

Yup looks nice and chunky and decent quality. I think skywatches might be cheaper but note that it's grey market, so no official seiko warranty. You might want to go shopping at bencoolen, i think still can find kinetic models over there at 35% off and they are official seiko dealer with manufacturer warranty.
