bro, u can try this jap supermarket at the basement of parkway parade. located at a corner next to cold storage

was told that they import and wholesale to jap restaurants. they set up a corner with a few tables to cater to retail customers.

you just go and select wat u want from their counter fridge, then they will slice for you.

fresh, cheap and good! thiink 10 -12 slices of salmon at ard $8

Heys, you can try Sakuraya at Anchorpoint too. Their salmon sashimi is heavenly. Uber thick. 5 thick thick slices at $9. They were even featured on the papers for thie salmon sashimi a while back.

don't know if you're talking about the same chain, but I go to the one at buona vista for my wife to get her sushi fix. this place is damm good, even though I'm not a sashimi fan myself.

Sakuray Fish market at Anchor point is a good start. They offer good Sashimi at reasonable prices and also as they are a fish market they also sell all sorts of japanese ingredients
