Comments on Tag Heuer Monaco 69

Hi,

What do you guys think of the Tag Monaco 69? In terms of design, functionality, collectibility etc...

What is it's availability brand new or used? What sort of prices after discount should I expect if brand new?

Hi dude, initially I do have some interest in this Monaco 69 watch when the news revealed but after knowing the price. It's as good a getting two separate watches from Tag Heuer.

Getting two separate TAG is better than one if u decide to sell one. U do get to keep the money from selling off one and wear the other but Monaco 69 does not allow u to do so as the price lumps both into one CASE and do aware if u own one watch. U might not get to wear the 69 if u sent for servcing.

However, the 69 concept is not a bad idea. On the other hand for that sort of price range , you might consider getting a JLC reverso.

However a JLC reverson is much more valuable over time and holds the price better... Totally agree with KEF!
Around 6kish should be a good gauge... As there are a couple of variation...

bro, u keen to buy my JLC Reserve De Marche $6.3K? It's going to be discontinued so the value will appreciate...want to sell it to fund a purchase...hahhaaha

O no worries, U will be reverse to back to where u start and look into this forum abt JLC again. Value for money for in-house movement and concept.There's quite an amount of JLC lovers here.

I second the advice. JLC reverso is a classic and collector's choice. Certainly retains value much better than TAG.
