hmmm. i dun see how the price of a 112 will increase anytime near in the future. but as related to the topic. I feel the resale value of pams are falling and are nowhere near their value in the past 3 years. Maybe its the economy, maybe brand saturation. Just my 2 cents. ha.

        cheers,
        john

Definitely not brand saturation but rather the economy now.... Also depends on the model of the Pam... Some are more popular than the others. Lastly its the availability of the model itself... SEs and discontinued models normally hold their value much better than regular production models.

Never buy a watch as an investment. Buy what your heart sings most to you and treat is as a passion.

Too many to list here.. But the latest most popular model is the 312... As for SE 127 aka Fiddy and 217 are pretty much popular.. Not to mention the pre vendome and T dials...

Just my humble opinion; the 312 is listed at S$9800 & maybe after some discount, one could get around S$9000 or so. I seen some people are selling it at over S$10500!!! I am not trying to spoil their party but to make almost
S$2000 is really a bit overboard. They are driving up the price for this watch & some buyers might just fork out the S$2000 for a new edition, mind you I said NEW & not limited edition.

After a few months, when more people could get their hands on one, you will see the prices start tumbling & those that bought it at a high will be stuck. One good example is the Pam90.
I rather push my Alfa Romeo than drive a BMW

                    Alfa 1.5 Sprint
                    Alfa 33
                    Alfa 147
                    Alfa GT
                    Alfa Spider 3.2 V6- now
                    Alfa 4C- maybe next time

S$10500? I thought the going rate is S$11,000?
There are some buyers who willingly fork out the extra premium because they just cannot wait...nothing different from what had happened with the the kermit, the milgauss, rolex gmt2 ceramic, the DSSD etc... with time, more pieces entered the mkt and prices dropped, just like it will for the 312...just have to wait.
I actually don't see anything wrong with it, willing buyer + willing seller and supply vs demand situation...
