I have 2 Explorer IIs that change at different times. My white (F series) changes date at about 2 minutes before midnight while my black A series rolls over at 4-5 minutes after midnight.

A few points though, my black Exp II was last serviced by Rolex UK in Bexley back in Dec 2004 and they said that anything in the range of 15 mins before/after midnight is fine. When I first started wearing my white Exp II it was changing date at around 2-3 minutes after midnight and now it's the complete opposite. I don't think this is an important thing we should be worrying about about.
