    Nice

But I am in opinion, too many special editions from IWC, but maybe this is the 'in' thing in the marketing strategy of some watch companies.

i have to agree with you. lately, IWC has been producing more special editons.

unless one really like the watch, then get it. if not, can stick to the standard editions.

Now that Germany lost the European Cup, I wonder if this watch will be "dumped"! haha...
Time is too precious to be measured by a cheap watch...

            i dont think so...
the rarity of the watch will ensure its worth.
surf around and u will find that the asking is about 9000 euro for each.
your IWC AD or even Official Boutique in asia [all the way up to middle europe (eg. turkey IWC boutique)] wont even be given allocation for this very special piece.

personally i know nothing about football, but this and the Zidane watch from IWC have already caught my eye.

should germany take the next world cup.....that's another story for another day LOL!

Agree with triton & Hary ... Personally, I would stick to the regular models unless I really like the LE one ...

That is very true... You don't have to go far to see that AP has done the same with its immensely popular Offshores.... There is a special edition almost every 6 months! As far as I can tell, its still the same movement (although they have changed to an in-house one now) with lots of creative application of different materials and dial designs. It must be a successful strategy for them to be still churning them out!

Haha! No doubt about that! I'm sure some of the watch companies are now looking at capitalizing on the Spanish win to create a watch to commemorate! Viva la Espanola!
