If I can get 10K for my MTIIc....letting go at 9.8K, but still no takers.

Thats because a new GMT IIc can be found for this price in SG, though its not from an AD. The 116710LN pricing has been inflated due to a lack of supply but now u can get one for around S$9K in HK. Factor in a return ticket of $500+ (tax & fuel surcharge inclusive) and as short holiday to HK, u can see why there are no takers. No offence meant but this is just my opinion. If u can price it lower, i'm sure there'll be interested parties.

... a month ago a local shop offered me a slightly used GMT-IIc for S$9.2k ... it still had an open valid rolex warranty.

My GMTIIc was bought in HK but definitely not at S$9K but more back then cos the stocks were so limited at that time. I am already biting my bullet to sell at S$9.5K cos I need to get the new Daytona soon as they can't hold it too long for me.
