  • Food at the Outram Park

    Hello,

Anyone here used lives in outram park? there used to be alot of food stores in outram park. have anyone got any idea where all the stores goes to? Block 21 kopi tiam, block 17 kopi tiam, block 31 kopi tiam and 2 dim sum store, and even block 27 stand alone hawker centre. Western food restaurant at blk 21, japanese restaurant at blk 24.

i only know the char kway tiao at blk 21 is at fook hai.

the roast meat at blk 31 now at chinatown mkt.

Dai Dong dim sum store now at smith street, however, concept is vastly different from before (order and deliver rather then order at food section and pay at cashier section as before). taste differnet too, so is considered gone and lost forever.

Anyone want to add to that?

i used to stay at this block 23,

i buy the sponge cake almost every morning before going for classes just beside the pearls hill coffee shop.

i used to buy the fishballs from hk dimsum shop at pearls centre just beside the cd shop.

i missed those golden days where life is so easy to go anyway from where i used to lived.

after en bloc, the land is still empty..
