  • Longines Weems Second-Setting Watch

I know many people don't really think highly of Longines, but I saw this Weems Second-Setting Watch and I thought it looks great. Any comments? List price is $6000 if i'm not wrong, before the discount...

    Comments?

Before I got my PO Chrono, I also considered the GrandeVitesse... looks good and reasonably priced for a 7750 movement.

personally @ 6k, i think can get rolex preown or maybe a brand new explorer II. if it is my first watch, i would give it a miss.

using the breguet hands probably why the price is so high. the blue hands are trademark of breguet.

recently frederique constant has a model that also bears a little similar trademark of breguet.

Oh... 6k is before discount... after discount, definitely way below any preown rolexes or new explorer 2...
Besides, looks and especially size wise, I personally prefer it over the explorer 2.

Hmmm ... instead of a hack movement, you rotate the second-hand dial to synchronize the time? Seems a little leh ....

i thought it's an interesting watch with an interesting piece of history... was wondering why no one really talks about it.... Maybe because it's a Longines. :P

                Hi all,
I am new in this club and it my first post Longines will be my first serious investment into a watch with interesting history behind it. I am eyeing at the Legend Diver, it a re-issue of the 1960 diving watch that see it go down to one of the deepest part of the ocean in a deep sea submarine equipped with longines equipment I think if you are buying a longines, it is because of the sporting and adventure history behind it. Of course also the good look and functions
