I got a manual windings aviator watch from red army watches since a yr ago and I can say its a weird experience cos everytime since day 1 I got the watch I could pull the whole crown with the stem out everytime I need to adjust the time sent back the next day for repair they check for 2wks and told me all it fine but the problem is the same the good thing is that even so it still works all you need to do is just push it back in hahaha... I would think twice again buying another russian watch but maybe other russian brands are ok or is it just my luck.
        Current watch list:-
        Rolex DJ (11640)
Omega Seamaster (daily beater - now down pending servicing...)
        Tudor Glamour DD
        Magrette Bronze (daily beater)
        Hamilton Jazz
PAM 0000 (Got it for my 41 BD)

        Latest new toy:-
Seiko Sumo Diver (daily beater to replace my broken Seamaster)

Moving into vintage rolex... targeting on good condition DD1803, Explorer1 1016, Explorer2 1655.

sunny, don't understand your problem. can you PM me with details i.e. which model you bought , when and what you mean i.e. you can take out the whole crown so how can they say it's not a problem??

I know the guy who owns Red Army watches. I can ask him about it for you.

I like them as they represent a different alternative to the usual swiss offerings... I do wonder abt the price locally tho, since they can be had for a fraction less over the net...

this is a locknut that wont stay in place, the connecting part need to be rethread and a new locknut replaced. alternatively you can sock the glue in "one ton glue" and hope that it will stay in place.

this is what i learn from my perth "rsc"

Just read up last night of an interview that Vostok uses China movement.
                  For all their pieces?

Don't know which China watch factory, or which brand?

I have one SOYUZ Transmitter. Quite accurate and the winding is smooth.
