Hi but isn't the Turns per Day on a high side? Do pardon me but would like to know more before. Thank you!

No. At 6.5 turns per minute with intervals, it is much gentler than watch on your hand. If a watch worn on the hand for 24/7 is too much and will get damaged. Then I think better not buy watch if can turn 2 times per minute..................1 hour = 60 minutes, 24 hours =1440 minutes.

Automatic winding and winding the crown is 2 different story. Also modern watches have mechanisms to prevent manual over winding.

With our humid climate, watches moving in the winder last a lot longer than lying down not moving in a cupboard.

too many turns? just buy a timer to regulate the operational hours....

Any idea what the require TPD for a Rolex? Or different model got different requirement for its TPD count?

Saw ppl say buy timer to regulate but regulate to what no count will be more appropriate?

i bought it for the price stated in the thread...for the price i do like the design and build of it...

a few friends were thinking of the underwood for $4k...but conclusion was unless we have a lot of per calendars..this should be good enough....
