Vintage watches being sold in shops are usually of better quality but not cheap, if you are looking for bargain. My very honest and blunt opinion is: don't touch vintage, if you are going to ask people for their opinion on price for every purchase you make. Price of a ceratin make/model of vintage watch can vary a lot depending on the condition of the watch which require close inspection with some good knowledge of the watch.

If you must go into it, try to do some research in the internet on the particular type of watch that you are looking for. Pay high price is fine if you don't intend to flip it, so long as all parts are original and its dial is not re-con (quite common for omega vintage).
