    it seems that the trend is now to come out with different color dials and call it limited edition and hopefully people will buy.

    seiko seems to have follow sinn, hublot, B&R in this direction to create limited edition. all these brands are thinking like if AP can make it, so can we.

    however, i think it is a dangerous path for seiko. i wonder the percentage of seiko fans will be willing to cough out money for such a watch. it seems that thailand has a habit of introducing such limited editions.

    honestly, i would rather pay this kind of money for a titanium model instead.

        Agree. Even if this yellow sumo had been offered as a variant at the normal price, I still would have preferred the black or blue one.

            To me, from the picture above...the yellow looks tacky....still prefer the blue or black version of sumo....

                IMHO... Seiko should have prioritized improving the 20mm lug width of the sumo, instead of coming up with this marketing tactic !!!
