Physical wise, the 14060M has additional line in the face with wording CERTIFIED..

14060 does not, so only 2 line of text

14060M is new line of SUB (w/o DATE) released in 2006/7 if I can recall correctly.

May wish to consider SUB DATE. More "recognised". 14060 or M usually project one as SUB wananbes with tight "budget"

My friend own one 14060 and I always "swan" him...

get the vintage 5513 if you want it for collection.. but provided you don't mind the acrylic crystals found on this model.. it has a production run up to 1989 and runs on a caliber 1520 movement..

          Sub-ND (with or without COSC)

Been thinking of picking up either a near-mint D / Z-series 14060M (without COSC wordings) or a Z / M-series one with the COSC wordings.

Just wondering if there is any substantial differences in the secondary mkt pricings for them (assuming similar conditions, full boxes and papers, etc.)

          Thanks

not very sure about the pricing of COSC 14060m at ADs but i had seen 1 for sales few days ago by a local dealer aka "yeo Kim choy" asking USD4.4k for it... In terms of looks, other than the inclusion of the "superlative chronometer officially certified" wordings on the dial, perhaps u might also consider if u like the chapter ring inscription cos it is also a new feature of the COSC 14060m.

Yes of course there is a diff in price in the secondary market...I would go for the 1 with COSC certified

the earlier sub nd without the wordings superlative blah... actually runs on the same movement as the exp 1 (calibre 3000 - correct me if i am wrong). and the exp 1 is cosc certified. so my take is that the new one is no diff from the older one. thus mkt forces not going to be too diff.

                      cheers.
