  • [311011 New Addition]- [SEIKO]- SRP129 the WorldTimer diver

Just collected my order from Tanjong Katong SC earlier... a black dial/PVD bracelet WorldTimer SEIKO 5 sports to add to my collection since my last addition- the "tactical" Military themed SNZG17.
Initially ordered the J make- SRP129J1, hoping to save some red notes for his purchase. Too bad that Mr.GOH can only get the K-make from ThongSia, so paid another 3 red notes. But compared to the quoted price i get from Bencoolen shop, ok lah, a green note lesser.

A brief look at the watch, very well built, a tad heavy as my SANDOZ diver.
Glossy casing exterior quite a finger print magnet.
Brushed bracelet looks rough, but i have not much confidence on the IP coating as mentioned in some sites, we shall see how the coating durability goes after some time.
The movement used is a 4R36 with day and date wheel, according to specs, the power reserve is 40hrs approx. It hacks as well.

I'll share a good close up look with fellow brudders here in a few days time. Watch this space...

I don't know how does the 24hr indicator work really...
My best guess will be... using my first picture as an example...

        1. Let's say the time is now 2005hrs local time
        2. Turn the world bezel with "hongkong" align to the 20hrs indicator.
        3. Bangkok will be aligned to 19hrs while Tokyo will be aligned to 21hrs.
