  • GP 4900 Automatic

There are few GPs around in SG-ROC, I thought I would post a couple of pics of my GP4900 (18K Rose Gold) Automatic (ETA 2892) here for posterity:

    Enjoy!

Hi Sam, thanks for the compliment - I got this baby Jul 2008.

Anyway, it's a just an interest of mine. I am always fascinated by Breguet watches. Not ready to own a real classic Breguet yet, but Breguet-style watches close enough, for now.

Hmmm bro...correct me if i'm wrong. You bought GP4900 as a NOS if i'm not mistaken? This is a late 1990s or early 2000s production. I was considering buying it few years back but i bought the Sea Hawk II instead.

Yes James, I bought as NOS, sold off as pre-owned. Accidentally updated wrong section. The GP Sea Hawk II is a nice sports watch. =)

This sale is one of two watch sale that I later regret. It was sold almost 6 months ago. Almost all (sorry, make that ALL) the new watches I bought later cannot match the precision, feel and look of this piece. Don't know whether it's the roman charactors or the breguet hands or the golden bezel. Anyway, it's history.

Next time, if I see it again, I will consider buying back.
