    Hi,

    I am looking to go into cycling. I was just wondering if any bros here know of any good deals. I kinda fancy tokyo bikes. But i am open to any recommendations. Thanks!

      Hi Triton, thanks for replying to my thread. My budget is not more than $1k. I went to treknology to take a look. They have new stock in and well hopefully I will find sth i am willing to part my moolah with. Do you ride?

          $1k is quite a budget for a bike...

          last time i went bike shop i saw one bike listed at $13k. i made a comment about how i rather buy a motorbike and ride that, no need to pedal

            Eh i saw pretty decent treknology ones at less than 1k leh. Now just deciding whether i should go for a sporty or vintage looking one. lol... where do you ride if you do not mind me asking.

            yes the carbon ones are mad ex. i dont see how pple can blow that kind of money on bikes. i think they must be really serious manz... but they are super duper light... gone like the wind manz! and i have a craving for fish and chips from freo!!! and yummy pizza that requires a damn long drive to get to!

              not only carbon. titanium made frame are $$$

                if your looking for a decent bike on a budget you can keep you're eye on here as it seems to be the lace to sell them 2nd hand in SG.

                and don't get caught up in the carbon frame hype too much, although nice a good quality steel frame (columbus, etc) can have a very nice feel also and also look at the running gear/ components..

                            If you're looking at Tokyobikes I assume you're eyeing fixie/ singlespeed bikes. Why not try Airwalk - they've got affforable frames and components to custom make your dream bike in almost any color combination you can think of. I got a set of beautiful turquoise rims from them for my wife's singlespeed bike
