The epitome of seiko watchmaking. I have started this thread to include links to reviews and info about up and coming new models. All seiko fanatics are welcomed.

First a good read of the history of seiko

A fan myself, always hanging watch shops lusting at GS every time I am in Tokyo.

Anyways, this is a good and reliable online site to get your GS(s).

        My personal favourite.

Thats the spring drive grand seiko diver, your pic shows the titanium version, another version is the stainless steel one with white dial wordings instead of gold.

Here's a article and video on how the spring drive technology is implemented. Enjoy

Although very very well made watches and all the technology (eg. spring drive) behind em.

Personally, find it very hard psychologically to pay the asking for a Seiko. Not much discs to be had as well.

Double edge sword, since they make such excellent affordable watches. Hard to justify the premium for a GS.

              Someone pls change my mind

Thats what 99% of the world's population thinks of seiko. The current main objective of the company is shift from a brand that can mass manufacture watches to a company that produce good quality, medium to high end watches with class leading technology.

Yes it does, although it looks to me more cream than white.

With the Yen currently goin strong. Makes it harder to justify a GS.

Old GMT is cool. Any idea what is the servicing cost? Will local AD service the GS if purchase from overseas? thanks

Dun think Thong Sai services GS. You can try asking JW, seen em sell GS on consignment. J

ohn may be able to service em down the road.

                              Seiko GS

                              I like this one:
                              Seiko Prospex Spring Drive 600m
                              cost USD 2950.00
Mod why small image can't post picture here?
