  • U-BOAT - Rising star?

    Hi Guys,

Just wanted to hear your views on U-BOAT... Saw the watch at Raffles City today... looks great... simple and "big"

    Will it be another "Panerai"?

If you like it why not ??

IMHO watchs are all about history/marketing/quality/mass appeal/demand .

Models you like but other ppl don't like.

Models other ppl like but you don't like,

Once everybody like the brand will rise .

no one can tell for sure. if can tell hor, we will making big bucks in future.

marketing plays one of the important roles for the rise of a brand. hublot is one example.

would u guys rather invest in U-Boat or Ball if you were given a choice?

I have also recently bought a Glycine Incursore 46mm Manual + Incursore 44mm ARCO SL Thought it was really value for money since the former has exactly the same movement as Panerai... Kenna poisoned by HG... Now hoping to add one more to the collection before Xmas ...

U-boat have their own series ie flightdeck/thousand feet/classio/night vision .

Even though they are using ETA movement .

I noticed the older version of the classico come with a japanese movement compared to the newer ones that feature the ETA movement. Newbie question, will the japanese movement ones be a better purchase since they are already out of production (correct me if i'm wrong), hence more collecting value?

quite unlikely.......... cos japanese movements are seldom sought after in the first place.....
the hype is true. listen at your own risk.
