Yes, Saab is not the kind of car most Singaporeans would buy coz Mercedes and BMW have more brand power.

I did alot of research before buying it and it also helped that I know people who have been driving Saab's for years.

My Saab 9-3 has almost 200hp(after a legal factory chip upgrade) and the engine is excellent. The turbo on the car is a Light Pressure type and kicks in later unlike a WRX or something like that.

Car handles very well and after driving Japanese cars for so long this was a great bonus. Put the car on Sports mode and the pick up gets much better.

Overall a great car, you can do 200km/h & up on the highway in Malaysia and you feel safe as it holds very well. The car is big on safety as well.

When buying the Saab, I was also considering the BMW 3 but chose the Saab because it was slightly cheaper and I was getting more stuff for the money spent. Truly a pleasure to drive.

Saab... must say I have a weakness for it. Very nearly bought the 95 Aero a few years back if not for my OC dragging me back. Press the 'S' button... wah... rocket. Only thing is that it torque-steers like a pig. Well... so much power on the front wheels...

The only 2 cars that is catching my eye is the:
    1) VW Scirocco (damn sexy man)
    2) Audi A4 2.0T (very chippable and with quattro)

haha... I don't know why have a thing for lau sai cars...

My watch target is prolly a RM or maybe an Urwerks! Although that would cost more than the car I just bought, an Integra Used to drive a 23yr old honda accord from my dad!

Dreaming of an Audi TT or 370Z! Or maybe a Lotus like one of the bros here drives, very cool car too!

I agree, if you have a watch target....must also have a car target.

Currently own a Saab 9-3 2.0T, just bought it a couple of months ago...sometimes I think of the money spent on the car and what I could buy with the extra $$$.

Next car on the list would probable be an Audi A6 but I think another 4-5 years from now.

Own a GMT Master II Ceramic bezel stainless steel...my pride and joy

Also have an Oysterquartz and some Datejusts all of which I'm going to sell to make room for the next target...the new Submariner TT Blue Ceramic Bezel.

Have watch target also must have car target:

    Watch Target
    1. Hublot BIG BANG ALL BLACK
    2. Daytona SS (White Dial)

    Car Target
    1. Used BMW 325
    2. Used NEW VW GTI

Any Bros views on my target most welcome. For cars, it is a big jump from my Suzuki not-so Swift Sport... but in life, gotta aim high so can fall in-between.

I know there's a few volvo drivers here (from same car club)... maybe just shy to say...
Also have Kia MPV for wife and weekend family needs.
