Base on current STI level, if you want to gain $50k within one year (only if there is sufficient volitility in the market or the bull returns), you probably need around $150k-$200k capital. Of course it will be low risk investment like stocks in blue chips... you will need to buy low at the right time and sell high at the right time...
on the other hand, if the bull don't return or the market stay flat... very difficult...
my advise is don't listen to "tips" or so-called stock advise from those so-called finanical analysis.... unless the "tips" is given by the owner of the company (but I think it is a white collar crime...
)
