    I don't think so....

The longer you wait, the most expensive daytona will be.... due to many many reasons, increase in list price, inflation, increase in income level in singapore, etc...

If there is really another market correction, you should use the money to buy stocks... after the correction, you sell the stocks and with the extra $$$, I am sure it will cover the "increase" in the price of daytona....

so will this market correction affect the price of BNIB daytona?

or should i pull the trigger now?

my friend say wait. after all , i have waited for 10 over years already. what is another 1-3 months?

then again, i miss the last boat of 13.5k which is about 500 above list. the new list is ~13.6 so will the price be 14.6 for black dial and 14.1 for white dial?

yes confirm cannot do without date. yes, with hp is easier. but a flick of the wrist is faster. my phone is usually in screen saver mode. sometimes hard to see in certain light condition does not matter day or not.

it is not about fun having to wind the watch. some people say fun initially, some people say le che *troublesome* because got to wind it. but since you have like 8 watches, unless you put them on winder, dont think you rotate them fast enough unless you wear one in the day, another one @ night, then possible to keep them wind up long enough till next time you wear it.

and yes, louie has expressed interest. but he has already gotten it liao.

it does not matter if the brand is popular. this concern is rank lower than

    1) religion 1
    2) religion 2
    3) religion 3 - watch making history
    4) religion 4 - robust/trusted movement

i agree with you that 1 less kaki means less bargaining power. but buying pam and buying rolex got many difference. one is that pam production is limited in a certain series, so means supply is limited. demand may be possible high. but rolex production quantity is confirm bigger in a certain series compared to pam. as such, bargain power for pam is lower compared to rolex.

also even if you have 5 ready buyers for pam 233, will the watch dealer have so many? i dont know. if dealer dont want to lower price, we as buyers also have to grit our teeth and pay the price.

I admit its fun in the begining , but after sometime when i rotate among other watch , i come back to my Pam , i have to wind it when all my other rollies are sitting comfortablely in the winder . I keep cursing my Pam , and somemore there is time, when you forgot to wind the watch , and miss some important appointment , this happen to me once when i'm wearing my pam 111, but 8 days shld be better, since my PR only 52hrs .
Actually i support you to get the 116520 , but that also means less 1 kakis to get the 233, = less bargain power , IIRC , Bro louie , also looking for the Pam 233, at least got 3 of us express interest liao .
Now just waiting for the L series to reach our shore .
But 1 thing for sure, both watch represent 2 of the most popular brands in the market now . Can't be too wrong with either 1 .

    Cheers

ha ha... although I prefer 116520 more, I don't force ppl to get 116520... since date is very important to you, PAM233 is the right watch for you....

Discontinued is sooner or later... a matter of time.... but what does that mean to you? Can't get BNIB anymore? or price will go up?

If you are worried about can't get a BNIB when it discontinued, go and get one now.... but you have to get the Sub Date SS also... ha ha ha...

If you worried about price up, don't think so... just look at the discontinued GMTII.... soft also now...

I think you should stay focus

Since it has Chronograph with 30-minute counter, I believe that 2 pushers are for that function...
