dont think the dome is visible...looks flatter...if there is a dome......but i find this 3 days PR a gimmick.

eh...not interested in the new PR models. i think waste time. why? standard pr is about 42 hours already.....so if 72 hours, it is just another 30 hrs more..it is not going to make a significant dent in the PR. but between about 2 days to 8 days, there is a difference enough for me to consider.

On the other hand, I am not so excited about the new PAM321. I think the new watch list price is above $11K... if thats the case, I prefer paying a bit more for PAM233 as I think PAM233 will be discontinued earlier than PAM321 for sure.....

really depends on your current portfolio. daytona can always wait for good deals, thus can be opportunistic buy sometime down the road, and when was last time u used a chrono, not to mention its relative commonality(i own one). pam233, would be great if you only want/need ONE panerai, but why not others, even with its uniqueness, if all you want is a PAM for the collection, that reflects the heritage and robustness and toollike funtionality, even a humble 005 reflects that ethos. 8 days PR, only useful if u wear that watch once a week, really. JLC is a tribute watch, got the romance and perceived history of the other two makes as well, plus relatively faithful repro of the original polaris, 45 hr PR...good enuf, alarm...useful, esp since it can be set with such ease using the 2 o clock memovox alarm crown with its own bbl, jlc956 - think only used in this watch, AND ONLY 768 PIECES...not 768 in this series nonsense, and certainly unique and NO FAKES.

good luck mate, whatever your choice is, since all 3 are winners in their own rights.

P.S. i am almost talking myself into taking the polaris tribute as well!!!
