previous gen C-class C180 - 9.6l/100km (combined)
previous gen IS200 - 9.9l/100km (combined)
not much difference. but i much rather buy a preowned S-class , much bigger, and more power! even if not racing it is good to know that you can have access to the power on demand
actually 180kmh for c200 should be ok, considering my 91/92 3S-FE AT can hit 160kmh quite ok. the merc should do even better
Hmm I see...
Yeah the preowned S class is nice How's the petrol consumption for a S280? sry ah...ask u check again.
Hmm...preowned s280 would cost something like a 130-150k onwards,a preowned C180 older model would cost about 80k

according to my Oz webbie
C280 (3000cc) - 9.6l/100km combined cycle (mix of urban and country)
C65-AMG (6200cc) - 13.4l/100km
IS250 (2500cc) - 9.1l/100km combined cycle (same as above)
in real life you are looking at about 10-11l/100km more if you are idling in causeway jam, and even more if you are using turbo etc etc.
both cars iirc need premium (RON95)
