this is really tough question, involving lots of analysis, but it could be so much simpler if you just fall in love with one and everything else seems irrelevant.
anyway, I'm always fall for iconic piece. hence, shortlisted the below.
1. JLC Reverso Tribute 1931 or Grand Taille
2. IWC Ingenieur Pellaton
3. Speedmaster with 861 or Broad Arrow '57 Co-axial
4. Day Date
5. Black Bay with in-house chronometer movement (waiting, if any)

If yes, then there's only one clear choice - the Datejust, of course.
If date isn't significant for you, and all things being equal, you may want to get the Explorer. It's one of the Sports models that is designed more versatile for daily wear. The resale value or ease of resale is slightly better too.
I will choose the Explorer over the other two models.
Thanks for the input!
Date function is not that important to me.
Today went to try out wearing the explorer 1 and it feels really nice. Size seems just nice at 39mm, not too big not too small. Think i'm sold on buying it. Time to save up some money

Understand all 3 are different watches, looking for something that flies under the radar.
Thank you

Need expert advice on the pro and con on New and Pre-owned Tudor Pelagos and Rolex Explorer II.
Thank you.
The new vs pre-owned has been discussed till death in the forum so I won't belabor the point. Personally, I would go for pre-owned if the piece is in good condition and comes with all the boxes and papers. I would prefer that the first owner take the hit in price depreciation. Stainless steel watches, esp those with bracelets, can be easily cleaned and polished till near new condition.
Pelagos is a diver's watch while Exp2 is more of a GMT watch with a second hour hand which can be used to track a second time zone. Pelagos has a titanium case which is lighter and has a matt finish. Exp 2 is stainless steel and parts of it are polished so it will look "brighter". I've tried both watches and for me, the Exp 2 (216750 model) wears better though the Pelagos comes with glidelock bracelet. That said, I was very tempted to get the Pelagos because of its new in-house movement which is COSC and has a superior power reserve of 70hrs. In the end, I went with a pre-owned white Exp 2 as I prefer the design, 2nd hour hand and I already have a submariner which looks too similar to the Pelagos.
Hope this helps!
PS.
if you do get the pelagos, make sure you get the newer model which comes with in-house movement as mentioned above.
