Yeah, i was quite surprised by the catch too. I will need the mack for food, trevallies for fight (on jigs) and sails for pictures... Haha!!

Accommodation looks okie to me. Anyway, i don't need very comfy place. My primary comfort item is hot water. Haha. Prefer to stay nearer to the jetty thou, so dunid to wake up so early in the morning. Hehe.

Good catch for just one morning, definitely much better than what we experience previously. My friends went last week too, catch is good. Landed quite a few sail too. Lotsa sotongs and green eyes. Other boat kanna 3 cobias, more than 20kg type.

Simi present? Fish?

Come come, lets go for another trip soon, esp since the catch recently is good. This time i bring my underwater camera setup to take pics of you together with the sails. Haha!

dunno where to go during sch hol, didnt get to bring my kids out for almost 2yrs. .. not allow to travel far due to some 'in-house domestic complication' .. u know lah... and of cos the h1n1, so decided to take a drv to malaysia.

tis time didnt get the to book the resort we stay b4, so stay another one abt another 7km north. each villa has 2 room, both with attach shower and also a outdoor bath. pantry, dinning and living. book 2 villa cos got a number of us. rm480 nett per villa night. ...

overall, beach / sand ok, almost identical to the 1 we went. breakfast = buffet type, but so so nia .. had 1 breakfast on sunday morning and skip the rest of the other days breakfast... so so nia, so i rather z z z z

anway cheap lah... cos i think i saw a promo leaflet for standard room incl breakfast for 2 only rm50 nia ( wkdays ) .. gonna find the leaflet .. double check if i see salah. . . . dunno 50 for 1 room or 1 person. if really rm50, go fishing, can stay tis hotel.

anyway, monday, decided to do a quickie fishing ( told boat man want to fin fishing abt 2pm, so can join my kids bak at resort ) .... one man show . . . . hahahhaa

7am reach jetty, boatman come 7.30, by the time he get ice and his things, set off slightly aft 8am . reach first destination at almost 9am. jig for bait fish and try for tengirri ... less thn few mins, first hook up ...woooo.... big 1 .... fight fight fight ... NNB ... gone !! boatman ask me ..hmmm 'lak gao' ?? .. i say no leh, feel more like break ... nnb... reeel bck .. nnb break.. boatman say just now he help me tie a short wire, damn, must be a big 1... teeth reach the leader..break.

anyway.. by 10.30am .. got 5 tengirri up leow ... tok with boat man, wanna try see can get cobia... so manage to jig for some more bait fish and 3 green eye.

change to cobia spot... green eye down.. NNB, sotong eat, so i slowly reeel up .. sotong attahc to my bait ... boat man use jig to catch it ... quite a few jumbo sotong sucking on my green eye .. manage to get 3 sotong up so can use it for my cobia hunt... dunno stotong season or wht, all quite long leh, 1 sotong almost 2 ft long.

try try another spot for cobia.. also same story... my jumbo green eye & sotong all kanna chew up.. put bait fish to try tengirri again.. kanna 1 more thn at 140pm, tell boatman to go bck leow, reach bck jetty abt 240... total 6, 2 smaller 1s.
