ah pet.....the hai rui....sibei tua jiat.

tis 1 a tough pc.. not the reeling up... tht one still ok.. it's the gaffing part, took us awhile to gaff it up whn near enough to gaff, it ran off again, and i got to fight it bck repeat alot alot of times... wt at 21kg.

yesterday fishing, consider not bad loh, as compare to my laast few miserable months...hahaa... still not good, but least got a 21kg cobia



got a chermin, 1 thunder, 3 ak ( very small ), 1 ray, 1 cobia.

cobia was damn bad boy... it was not too difficult fighting it up, but knn, whn it surface, deck hand trying to pull leader near to gaff, it dash off again ( damn afraid that it will break my line/ joint cos of sudden dash for freedom, because mono/ main braid line gt knot, the knot i ask u to try, u say cannot, will come out )....anyway, i release drag whn my langkong touch rod tip and whn deck hand trying to hold on to leader to bring it nearer, cobia refuse to give up, dash off, deck hand got to let go line, and i hv to tighten to full drag and fight it bck again... nnb, at least repeat 7 to 8 times...tis fella gott strenght leh, never had a cobia so pie... hahaha...

anyway, most important, my knot mono/ braid knot was tested.. hahaha...least able to tarhan my 10kg drag...

Jigging is always very siong ...... fishing reel big big and stiffer/longer rod makes it a little bit less siong ............. cannot anchor, boat must drift over reef, dropoff or super-structure then chances increase ............ nothing is more relaxing than bottom fishing ...........

ya loh...was thinking of going for pop and jig feb, but might change plan... cos apr going to kk leow.... so might swap to a couple of nearby trip like malaysia..mersing sside... haha

i just got another new toy today ... daiwa salt 6000gt ( 80lbs line ) to match my poppin rod, the stella 8k i am using is a power unit, too slow... hee



cant wait to try out tis new reel... but i guess will hv to wait til apr... if usse it in feb or march in west malysia over kill

tomolo going again... wow lau, luck need to change better abit leow... seems like fish not eating nowadays... #$%^&^%$#$%^&^%$... the last 5 mths, my fishing jia lark...

NLB ay.... fishing was f-ing bad.... pop the whole morning, no bite, only see 1 GT jump over my popper... CB... it was like 12-15kg range...thn try jigging, wow lau, si bei siong, first time try jig with a 500g... KNN.. no joke, 1st try ore bak kart leow....no strenght, and it was just difficult.... hahahaha.... i ask capt try... so he jig most of the time..CB... i still dont get it how ppl can jig so fast...anyway, also no bite... hahahhaa... i quite lazy, jig dunno got 6x or not.... heng ah,...if not really really hard work for nothing..... jigging really tough....
i still find popping not too bad, but most ppl say jigging easier, i think not, if u are using abv 500g jig...
as for popping, also hard work, my body abit sore leow.. backache and also tummy muscle, now cough also feel pain wow lau... guess getting too old for tis ssh1t ...

but i still boey kum guan... maybe will go try again in jan or feb...


anyway, villa was ok. went to a beach near the southern part, was nice, water clear.

fly 24 ( anytime), a day b4. fly bck late flight after fish.

so stay 2 nite nia, 24 and 25 nite. wnt to stay 1 more nite also can

boat abt 1800 for 2 days, 4 ppl = S$450ea. excl flight/ hotel

can try wuluwatu area, but villa i think at least us700++ for 3 bedroom... if 3 couple go, still quite affordable lah

staying in jimbaran .... wow, villa huge, 4 bedroom, all quite huge, comes with kitchen, pool. quite good price for abt 500us/ nite
