    From business point of view ,

    Retailers normally like to reduce expenses .
    And special rates are given to retailers depending of volume of transactions and length of staying with the same bank . Normally less than 2% .

    If bank A visa machine charges 1.7% for transactions and bank B charges 1.5% . We would go for the lower %charges . The bee kok and dinning cards charge more than 3% to retailers .

    sometimes dealers provide much better pricing than AD.

    Dont ask me how they do it... I also blur ( usually they source overseas ). .... recently jst been offered a watch tht's another 45% off AD's discounted price.

    Usually, rich people higher chance of kena ripped. Cost just buy and buy.
    Poor people like me, source here and there... bargain until face turn green... bargain somemore even though I know that the dealer quoted me the lowest among the places I visited. hehe.
