Then again.... how many times the custom really check the items? I say less than 0.01% of the people coming back from overseas.

As long as you are not bring through all the paper bags, showing off... I think should be ok.

David Gan brought a lot of Hermes Birkin Bags back and kena tax... Guess he was too loud and showy.

Be discreet and keep low profile on your newly bought items.

Red channel is for anything that is taxable. that includes goods above $300 if absent from singapore more than 48 hours.

Not illegal to bring in 20 pieces, just have to pay GST. Use red channel after paying and show receipt.

If you use green channel and don't declare. It's tax evasion.

Smokers, personal limits to pay tax is 10 cartons. Receipt will have your IC no. and have to carry it when smoking in public. If kena police check will be fined without receipt. BTW the stick itself is different.

Dunno much about buying in volume, just whack whatever I wanted. Dun think there's anything wrong about buying too much unless they exceed your luggage. No warning from the customs about goods, only not to exceed $30K cash or something. That's what shopping tours are all about, isn't it?
