ok. from what i understand, amex processes for credit card process got several. @ the point you swipe your card, it just means authorisation. only your credit limit is lowered by the amount you swipe. say limit is 1000, you buy 100. so your credit limit available from then is 900.

@ this point in time, the merchant is not yet paid. only when the merchant does a capture, then it means the merchant gets paid. some merchants may only send in the slips 1 -3 months later. it has occurred before.

while other merchant have the authorise and capture process @ one go.

this probably explains why u do not see the transaction yet.

i think work out to be S$1 : 74.55Yen

mg88, so 54K/ 74.55 = 724
gstring, 28K/ 74.55 = 376
