usually it is like that when going to buy things. back in the 80s, u enter a those branded boutique, if u dress down, they look @ u with those looks that is u can afford or not.

however, sales staff these days are better than before liao. they usually 'size' up potential customers first. when they sense potential customer going to buy, their sales pitch tone change. it is true.

so usually when staff approach me, i will tell them me just looking around. this is to spare both parties. the sales staff knows that im just look look see see. i also win because i do not want them to follow me everywhere i go in the shop. when im interested in any item. then i approach them.

You are correct . It's not 3% for the 16610 . It's 12% after the salesman tok to the boss son . I paid $65xx in march 07 .

Lucky i go dig receipt and compare ohlins listed price vs my purchase price .
