As Cat B already $70k plus and believe it'll be raising to reach $100k soon, I think Cat A will also be follow suit too.

Obviously the white castle policy makers made a major booboo but as with mas selamat, no one gets the stick. In fact LTA will put more coffers into the state acct with this rocket Coe. Would not be surprised to see stat board/ civil sector getting pay increase or bigger bonus going forward. Maybe a pay hike for them next year?
And we have the current situation which is going back in time to when Coe was sky high.
    Uniquely Singapore.

Still the same jams every morning.

QUOTE=pegasi;369186]On a more serious note (after my singing)...

While I sympathise with those who want/need a car but can no longer afford one with the current COE price, as well as those in the car business whom job got affected, I am quite glad that the COE quota has finally been reduced...for selfish reason. I have been whining to my wife for the past 3 years or so that there are too many cars on the road as a result of too many (and cheap) COE...[/QUOTE]

Really cannot imagine COE alone is $72k! Wonder how many "cars" to give "garmen". And more and more dealers or sales staffs will be asked to leave. Why "garmen" never help it's people? Rather see dealers close shop or sales staff being laid off and do nothing. Sad...

It's mostly the PIs that close shop. But china cars dealer will be gone soon too.
