Last yr reservist worn my sea dweller on nato....survived outfield with flying colours....hahahaha.....

Good for you! I got another three more years or so, will a very siao-on unit. Everytime high key, all the time stay in type. When I go back for ICT, usually wear more modest watch like my Laco pilots. Don't think I'm going back this time wearing my PP or VC, even though their meant for sports... : p

Hehehehe..so far i prefer manual winding for military pieces...hehehehe....more shiok when outfield to wind wind wind...or else hard to slp with so many mozzies buzzing ard....me combat de....use GUN de...not PEN

Occasionally I visit the flea mart at Sungei Rd..........and was suprised to pick up these 2 watches for a decent price....

1) Vostok watch....needs TLC.....but it runs .....$15



2) SAF issue Hamilton.....glass cracked.....but watch runs perfectly, just needs a new crystal,......$30

Haha, people like us tan ku ku to get such high-end ORD gifts. Even if the gahmen has budget for it, I'd rather they spend on helping the infirm, low income group and also stray animals. See one Blancpain 50 Fathoms or JLC Master Diver with SAF crest might make one sian 1/2, so help needy better!

It's nice yeah? This used to be the Hamilton given to ROD personnel. Now there's an updated version of the Hamilton Khaki with a rotating bezel given to ROD/MR folks. The new one is 40mm, quite nice but I like the older version better. It retains the classic military watch look. And if it can be found for under $50, why not? I think I got 3 more years before I ROD. Just wait lor...
