I went down to Watch Arena with my friend recently and he bought a sub from them. We were served by this nice chatty uncle called Steven. It was the first time at Watch Arena for both of us and I must say it left us with a very good impression. The service was good and the prices given to us were very reasonable. The place itself is very decent too - am surprised to find such a classy looking shop at Balestier, I always thought all Balestier had to offer were good food and lighting and bathroom accessories shops. Anyway just a tip for some of the bros in here who are thinking of making a trip down to watch arena - pay by cash if you can, they are likely to do slightly better on their price if you are willing to pay by cash

i've recently bought an oversea Sub from Watch Arena. Was serve by the young guy whom i think it's ok in terms of service, can talk cock abit with him.
Still can't decide if i should go RSC to verify although got paper. But the good thing about this shop is that you can pay by credit card without the 3% surcharge. So you can earn quite a fair bit of points or even cash-back from the bank.

It's not about people preferring to pay more "to feel song" la. Varying reasons: if you are cash-rich, then buy from PIs; if you are cash-poor but credit-worthy, then buy from ADs. Who doesn't wish to save more.. er... well, maybe for the rarer species. We got one here.

I won't rule that out also but I think generally some people prefer not to buy from PIs. Fear of getting fake watches etc etc....
