Hi - yes, it can be used as a dual time, but most collectors set it to the single time (or even mirrored time) since it's a reminder of the underlying "resonance chronometry" concept. Highly recommended if and when you decide to go on the independent route - there should still be some of the "original" Resonances around in ADs if you tarry not. It was somewhat recently discontinued (there is a new version which has asymmetrical dials and rehaut rings, but almost every preference I've seen expressed is for the original version).
