    GST for Items Shipped into Singapore

    Hey Guys,

    Jus wundering if guys have experience being asked to pay GST for overseas purchases made over the internet. (eg. eBay)

    Anyway to get around this ?

    $400 or less...no GST...

      yup, if more thn 400, got gst. if go by courier service, eg ups, fedex etc... pay to the delivery personel will do.

        it seems that in sg, even "gifts" are taxable. otherwise you can declare as a gift.
