such entertainment of course wife won't be present lah... Even the customer will be pai seh what... Hahahaha

Regarding Klassik topic... I wld tell them tat even Celebrities are spotted with them... And moreover, Golf being a rich man's game, a gentleman's game is often linked with Rolex... What is the logic then?? Its like paying $$ for the brand and hype vs one with decent standard and quality at a lower price... Sounds like a rich man with an empty soul versus an average man on the street where is rich in his values and life that many love him for the person he his. U din waste yr time attending yr fren's upper class party... U had a good visual of lessons in life and wat to impart to yr kids, and wat to avoid if eventually u r up there with them one day!

Below is my personal view and may not be accurate to all the events . Hope nobody gets offended in any way . If anybody do feel so after reading the full context , i offer my sincere apology .

My take is that the high networth individuals would not want to be seen with watches that could be afforded by anyone or common on the streets .

Rolex to them is like seiko to us . I had seen a rolex president full diamond dial/bezel (the bling bling hurt ur eyes)before at such gatherings few years back before i was into watches and tag along my ex-boss for a birthday bash for a customer before they got listed . Their time piece would be above 100k min than they would wear to such " show off "functions . Yes such gathering is to flaunt their wealth and discuss how many millions they earned last year which company they brought over . And the less capable ones would be there drooling .

But such gatherings there are 2 types of people .

    1. The humble down to earth type ie not yet reach the million dollar club
    2. The filthy rich type ie already in million dollar club aiming for hundred million dollar club .

But not all are snobbish but there are some who are . The main objective is to network among the super rich and gain insights/lobangs to increase their wealth . All in all there is only one sentence which i always remember by heart .

The Rich will get Richer .

that is true, but imagine if they lose it all. Ive seen a few in my life thanks to my uncle business. many people even $100 they come and kick fuss over, but when they were at their peak, my god, look down on the world.
