Top 4 Claypot rices in Singapore

Hi,

I had recently eaten and Ta Bao from the famous store in Geylang.

The Standard had dropped. used to be very tasty and now toward kind of blend and tasteless..Chicken meat portion had lessen too.

Rice is no longer crispy on the side of claypot.. Totally disappointed.

I have to agree.. Geylang Lor 33 standard has dropped. I had eaten there 3 x recently and all 3 x the rice is no longer crispy and also very salty! Must be the problem with Ah Tiong labor.

ABC market one is good too... sold by old couple

I second that..but the queue is a bit ridiculous especially weekend..i always call b4 going down..haha

Try the one at RWS it has very juicy chicken and puffy rice. $8 per serving.

Best i have eaten is in Geylang lor 19....entrance of lor 19. very traditional claypot.

Hello!!

If you love hong kong style claypot rice, then you must try this one.
It is located at 476 & 478 Macpherson Road & it is called WO PENG RESTAURANT.

U wont regret it but abit xxx

Btw,u can also try their crab & lobster noodles too.

They have claypot rice also?? alway go for their lobster noodles...will try it out the next time i m there.......btw they do have it at their Furama outlet known as HE PENG YAN?

All the mentioned places above indeed served great Claypot rice. But I also saw 1 at Ghim Moh near the old XO beehoon there. Anyone has any feedback on this stall?

Yes.tried that gimmoh..junction towards h.v...copishp beside the road? Rate 7.5/9, clementi got 2 claypot n jurong west also good
