hi guys,

i'll be going to BKK early Sept....i'm planning to stay at hotel lebua, i believe some of you had stayed there before? which is better? the deluxe suite or riverview suite?

Bro.. me just stayed there in July...

Tink you should be able to find some pics in kopitalk... the night view from a riverview room is great.. Room is big, with kitchen, living room, etc.

The hotel is actually part of an office building.. within walking distance is Shangri-la and some fast food..

Sirocco was nice... romantic place to dine... but expect to pay for the experience.. there's a 'bar' next to the restaurant.. openair also.. tink it's on the website.. cool place to hang out. But bear in mind that there is a very strict dress code there.

Feedback on Sirocco was ok.. service ok until i ask if i can bring back an empty Evian bottle (Coz it's nice and can be a momento)... FYI, i bought 2 bottle of that to drink while eating... actually didn't know that its chargeable until the bill came.. it's like SGD $12 for 1 bottle of plain Evian water..
So, after i asked the manager, he came over, gave me a KNN look, unscrew the metal top of the bottle (which is used to dispense water) and left the bottle on my table and walked off... Fug that, damn pissed. Actually wanted to write in to complain.. but then, felt that its a waste of time...

yes..will share my experience when i'm back...have already made reservation at Sirocco for 2 evenings to entertain guests....seem pretty good from their website...

Luckily ur Scirocco evenings will be under ur company's tab cos there's minimum spending, otherwise they will charge u on the minimum spending even if u order a glass of Coke!

Sounds good. Tell us about it when you get back! Thats the one which is @ the roof-top..people go there to soak in the view...although its just the river..I hear!

The full name should be Lebua @ State Tower - Quite a high-end hotel...

hehehee..decided to go for riverview or executive suite since comapny paying for it...hahaahaha....there's this Sirroco restaurant that so many people been telling....will try it out...
