Try pulau ubin. We have been too used to living in the urban city so once a while visiting places like Ubin can be quite refreshing...

I agree. Pulau Ubin is reminiscent of the kampungs of yesteryears.

whenever you go to a new place. you should go two areas of that new place should you got only limited time. The business district and the red light district. So I recommend geylang and tanjong pagar.

It really depends what kind of trip you want to make it to be....

For the nature lover: Hort Park (with tree top link to vivo), Mac Ritchie Reservoir Tree top walk, sungei buloh mangrove walk.

For the Food Fanatic: satay by the bay (there is a $25 seafood buffet, good value and food), lau par sat food centre, bedok food centre.

For the classy: Rochester Park, Dempsey hill, orchard road
