ended up booking at nathan hotel for my parents. they were very happy. price wasnt too bad.

was told that you can take the shuttle bus from airport > kowloon station worked out cheaper for 3.

so go check out the hotel reservations desk at the airport. also be prepared to wait ~40mins in immigration.

I have also stayed at Imperial Hotel at Tsim Sha Tsui once. Right opposite peninsular hotel and also quite accessible to TST MTR station.
Will check out the hotels listed. Last time my dad went; he said he was able to check his bags in in the city and take a train to airport. enjoy the nice view, knowing you cannot get into a traffic jam on the mtr. . it will be 3 persons. my bro tagging along too. leave me at home to look after the house. perth security quite **** lately.

i just hope those two hotels have windows room. the last time i stayed in a hotel, no windows. die liao! dunno day from night; having said that, in bali; my body clock was turned around . sleep/swim during day, then chiong nightlife

also want to find hotel room in HK. budget: <HK$1100 (<US$200). basic hotel best; those with no breakfast even better as they will go out to enjoy the food outside.

language wise will not be a problem.
I usually stay at Kowloon area

    1) Stanford hotel at Mongkok. Smack next to ladies market. Shop till wee hours and 100m away is bed.
    2) Prudential. Right on top of Jordan MRT station. Accessibility to Tsim Sha Tsui or just 2 stations from Mong Kok.

did not go in and ask... was in a hurry looking for an available toilet... but it still is a handsome looking watch, though...

I was in HK early Nov. I went to the same shops that Watcha posted these pics. I saw the exact same watches. Yes, around Mira hotel area. many many 2nd hand shops with many many rollies, pammies, etc etc.

Good job bro for taking the pics. My wife and I were in awe while we in HK by the huge selection available, both brand new and used. similarly for her favourite handbags.

we went Paris and London in Aug and we also don't see so many Hermes Birkins and Chanel Jumbo. HK is the best in our opinion for shopping for watches and handbags. Price wise, is so-so, but selection is really really damn good

puts all the boutiques and 2nd hand shops (referring to both watches and bags) into shame man!!!!

Near mirimar hotel at Kimberley street along Nathan road in TST. Got a few more shops there to drool too.
    yes that is the shop.

quite a few shops along nathan road. scattered around.
