Where Serviced?

Hi, anybody knows if this vintage AP Royal Oak 4100SA two tone yellow gold and steel automatic at 35mm with original papers from 1979 but no box priced af S$10,000 is too pricey or is this a good deal? Aesthetically in good condition and just serviced recently so it winds smoothly and keeping good time.

Any thoughts?

Hi guys, I am looking at purchasing this vintage AP Royal Oak 4100SA two tone in 35mm Automatic with original paper from 1979 but now box. Overall in great condition aesthetically and keeping good time. Is S$10,000 too pricey or is this a good deal? I have a a small wrist so most are my watches are 34-39mm only.

When i was hunting for my AP watch,i noticed that US is selling pre-owned AP watches at a relatively high price compared to local market & i was wondering why is that so?Just curious only & thought anyone from here knows & noticed as well?

how actually to find those grey market sellers?

Been to the Europe last 3 weeks, but the price is no way near our forum sellers at all.
is rather disappointing to see price actually higher in Europe than in Singapore.

say for an AP black theme, it cost around 31,000. But here we can get it around 23,500 :bang wall:

I think the ADs do not offer that great of a discount sometimes to walk-ins.

But a lot of ADs actually sell to their regulars (whom may actually be grey dealers here), they always buy from them to come here and resell. Thus they are able to get discounts that is not possible for regular customers.

Yah wad i meant was even after tax refund n discount from the european watch shop,its still cheaper to buy from some guys in this forum.means they got even more discount than those dealers in europe??

Most of the pieces you find in this forum are pre owned pieces.. else grey pieces..

Thats y they are less expensive then authorized dealer..
