Mickey
sorry for my late reply. Regarding the brownstrap, I got it from here
www.red12straps.com
Other option for strap would be Kevlar strap with blue stitching

Lug width of Samurai is 22mm

Mickey, you need a pin-like tool to push in from the end the arrows are indicated. Doing so, you will remove a small hollow cylinder and allow the pin to fall out the other side. Sorry, I've no idea what the actual technical terms are for these parts...
Enjoy your Ti Sammy. It's a great casual watch!

Hi Hary san,
Am a proud owner of a new samurai (black) 2 days ago. I must say that the watch feels very very light (and probably not as "solid" in construction compared to the newer stainless steel version - but i still like...)
Wanted to request for info:
1) Loved your brown strap. Wondered where did you get it from and what is the mm size? (24mm?)
2) If I need to shorten the ti bracelet, what should i do? ( i noticed a lot of holes with arrown sign pointing downwards - push them in?)
Many many thanks in advance and also to Kermit for bringing me this piece of joy.
Mickey

The new Sumos do come in a Ti variant which was recently released. SBDC007 is black-faced whereas SBDC009 is orange. There is no blue. Retailing at US$955 from Higuchi!

Sorry for posting an ignorant question here.
It seems that the Samurai SBDA series has been discontinued. Noticed that the newer SS samurai (not as good looking - SNM Series) is currently on sale.
Would like to know what are the difference between this 2 series.
Many thanks.

The first one has a bit of refinishing done on the case and a new original crystal fitted by me.
The second one is NOS.
I had the case bead-blasted on the third one and also fitted a new crystal.
