Haha, my own mistake lah! My Revue Thommen auto and Graham now got to wind very carefully. Sometimes when winding the crown can turn but no resistance...that's when the winding stem is loose. Smart people learn from others mistakes, dumb ones from their own, hahaha!Originally posted by feilong108 View PostThanks Bro Toffeesthings for your kind reminder and advice...hehehe...learn something new today again!!!!

Oh, let me answer the question. Auto watches can also be wound manually to generate its power reserve to keep the watch moving. Helps keep the parts lubricated. Truth be told, I also don't like watches with screw in crowns, gotta be very careful when screwing in but most watches these days are like that.Originally posted by leslie View Posthehe.. how come auto watches still need to wind manually leh? i hate those manual winding watches with screw in crowns.. haha.. wanna wind everyday also sian..
