That's right! But if Master Yoda wants a more contemporary look Type A, might as well get a Steinhart Vintage. Last December at JW still got a couple of pieces going at S$600 plus, very tempting. Sterile dial some more!Sweet 16:

Haha, if you Stormtrooper then I'm a Wookie, Feilong is vintage collecting Jawas (Jawas trade refurnished robots!) Well, had serious thoughts about trimming down my collection to about 15-20 pieces but the grand dilemma is deciding what to keep.Originally posted by leslie View Posthaha.. me not jedi master lah.. me just a storm trooper.. you really serious in trimming down your collection?
Of course, the PP, VC and AP are keepers, together with my 2 Pams, 2 Lacos, 2 IWCs (will trim down to 2 pieces), Giuliano Mazzuoli, Glycine F104, Hanhart, ECW and Longines Legend Diver are other keepers. That makes 14 keepers.
I'm now undecided on whether to keep my Breguet Transatlantic or let go. It's a costly piece but damn hard to find also and a Breguet afterall, some say in the same league with the trinity : (
My other dilemma between keeping or selling is with the larger pieces like the Bell & Ross 01-92, U-Boat Thousands of Feet (phantom) and Graham Chronofighter Oversize that look physically very impressive and gives you this sense of awe when worn but if I keep these nice but relatively young brands, that will mean I have to forgo the other good, established (but non-trinity) brands like my Glashutte Original Senator Type A, Cartier Santos, Chopard Gran Turismo and Breitling Superocean. Of course, the other option is to let go of the behemoths and good brands since I already have the trinity.
So, if any bros wouldn't mind sharing their 2 cents, would you go for looks or brand value?Sweet 16:

Hehe, thanks for sharing bro. Yeah, maybe I'll try to strike some kind of balance between good brands and good looks. Alamak, the ECW very nice lah, don't think I want to sell anytime soon. Maybe wait for some bros who want to sell their ECW. It was really going at a good price during last year's sincere sale. Wish we went down earlier together last year, we might have gotten a larger size ECW Panhard! : (Originally posted by feilong108 View PostFor me, i go for brand values than looks...esp if you are talking about keepers...
Can keep 1 or 2 fun pieces for the novelty factor...hehehe
Was yours with the black dial or beige dial? : )Sweet 16:
