Which is a better option for a LACO watch :

 (a) Type A 45mm manual
 (b) Type A 45mm auto (eta)
 (c) Type A 42mm manual
 (d) Type A 42mm auto (eta)
 (e) All (a) - (d) in Type B

Type A 42mm, clean dial and big enough liao for you. Manual or auto...I would say consider what you have in your collection. I had more manuals than autos hence I went for an auto.Originally posted by Oceanklassik View PostOk guys, need your expert advice.

I always like a pilot watch and ever since I sold off my IWC, I hope to buy another which I can afford better. I still don't know if Laco is the right choice for me thoughOriginally posted by toffeesthings View PostHmmm...for me, I'd say its ideal if both Type A & B are same size, then they'd look like the twins as they were meant to be, and manual winding as the original.
If cost was not a concern, 45mm certainly.

Hehe, why Bro Ocean? Getting Laco poisoned too?

You may be right because I'm not too sure. It seems there are quite a few variations.Originally posted by Kakashi View PostI dun think Laco got 45mm auto unless limited edition?? correct me if i am wrong. :-)

Bro Ocean, then your next best option is to go for a Stowa. The Laco design is more for a weekend/casual wear watch but if you want something more versatile for work, it'd have to be the 40mm Stowa (sterile, of course). Cost a bit more but if you'll like it and wear it more, why not?Originally posted by Oceanklassik View PostI always like a pilot watch and ever since I sold off my IWC, I hope to buy another which I can afford better. Dear Bros.. me leeporting in liao.. haha

There are 45mm eta manual winding version dial A & B of the Laco pilots.. but the price difference of 200 Euros makes the 42mm sounds like a better deal..

Bro Toffee, stowa also quite nice but the waiting isn't fun at all.. roughly around 3-6 months for delivery.. hehe
